Workflows

We’re excited to announce that Onboarding is now Workflows. This comes with a whole slew of changes as well as some exciting things on the horizon. Let’s dive in!

Create Multiple Workflows

You can now create separate Workflows for each of your processes. Whether you want a unique ‘New Volunteers’ Workflow for each campus, or you want to onboard Audio, Video and Lighting volunteers separately we’ve got you covered.

Search & Filtering

You can search each Workflow and it’s members by name and email as well as filter by their status within the workflow. More on that next.

Statuses – In Progress, Stale, Complete & Archived

As people move through your Workflow a few things could happen. First of all they could finish all your steps (Great!), in which case you can mark them as ‘Complete’ and they’ll end up in the ‘Complete’ column. Next, they could fall out of the process at some point. We created the ‘Stale’ status for this case. You can think of ‘Stale’ as on-hold as it is useful when you still want to keep track of that person but don’t want to archive them. Finally we have in progress and ‘Archived.’ Archived people won’t show up in your workflow and ‘In Progress’ is the default status for new cards.

Workflow Admins

This addition is most useful for larger teams. You can now add Admins and Owners to specific workflows. This means that Admins won’t be able to view workflow unless they’ve been added to the workflow. This will clean up Workflows as people will only be shown Workflows pertinent to them.

Add existing Members to Workflows

In addition to adding new people to workflows via name, email, and phone number, you’ll be able to add people who have already joined your MxU Team to workflows.

What’s coming next?

• Automatic Automation: Send emails, assignments and more automatically based on a stage change.
• Templates: Creating workflows is time consuming, we’ll do that for you so all you have to do is click ‘Create’ and start putting workflows to work for your team.
• Integration: We know you use tools outside of MxU, and we want to integrate with them!
